Join the Voices of Experience, the Iowa City Senior Center's mixed-voice choral ensemble, as we salute The Best of Broadway for our 2024 summer session. Under the direction of Jon Ranard, and rehearsing from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Assembly Room on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, the Voices of Experience (currently 30+ members strong) is open to singers and musicians of all backgrounds and experience that can match pitch, and who are also members of the Iowa City Senior Center. Come one, come all to enjoy the people, the music, the laughter, the welcoming atmosphere, and the fun of the rehearsal process, culminating in a final concert on Thursday, August 15 at 2 pm in the Assembly Room. Memorization is not required, but often achieved by many! Fee: $50 (reduced rate available for participants in ICSC’s low-income membership program); pay ICSC at registration. The fee covers the cost of music, materials, and instruction for the summer session. Membership required.
