FREE CONCERT AT THE PARAMOUNT

The 100 member Cedar Rapids Community Orchestra is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a FREE concert at the Paramount Theatre. The concert is designed as a family friendly event with pre-show fun activities for children and adults alike. The program will open with the Star Spangled Banner! Ravel's Balero and highlights from West Side Story will get your toes tapping. There will be a world premiere of ACCOLADES: A Tribute to a Vision, a piece written expressly for the CRCO. And for those who enjoy organ music, the historic Wurlitzer will be featured in Saint-Saen's 3rd Symphonie. 

All are welcome; no tickets or reservations are required! This is a wonderful opportunity for those who have never before had the chance to explore and enjoy orchestral music. Stay after the concert to meet the conductor, composter, and members of the CRCO. On-street parking is free on Sundays.
