Boiled Baked Brouhaha

Art and food come together in this culinary competition. Contestants submitted recipes inspired by art from the University of Iowa Museum of Art’s collection, and those with the most “likes” on the museum’s Facebook page will cook and share their culinary creations at the Boiled Baked Brouhaha. The top recipes at the event will be reinterpreted by Iowa City Press Co-op artists and included in a hand-printed, limited-edition cookbook. This event accompanies the UIMA Legacies for Iowa exhibition “Boiled, Baked & Brewed,” on view at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport from December 2017 through April 2018.
